PHILBRICK, Christine B., 94, PRESQUE ISLE, January 23, 2013. Spring interment will be in Fairmount Cemetery. Arrangements are in the care of Duncan-Graves Funeral Home, Presque Isle.

    PRESQUE ISLE – Christine B. Philbrick, 94, passed away peacefully in her sleep January 23, 2013, at her residence. She was born in Van Buren on December 6, 1918, the daughter of Edward and Marie (Lebel) Tardif. Christine was a devoted wife and mother. She loved to play bingo, cards and do puzzles. She was an avid reader and enjoyed many winters in Florida with her husband, “Phil”.
    Special thanks to her caregiver, Sharon Crouse, whom she adored and looked forward to seeing everyday.
    She is survived by two sons and their wives, Jonathan and Cindy Tardif of Lincoln, Paul and Deb Philbrick of Woodstock, N.B., Canada; three daughters and their husbands, Patricia and Robert Abbott of Mechanic Falls, Sandra and Mike Bragdon of Presque Isle, Judy and Russ Bouchard of Presque Isle; a sister, Theresa Reffett of Winchester, KY; six grandchildren, Laurie Christie and her husband, Edward, Katie Bartley and her husband, Chad, Russell Abbott and fiancée, Elise, Justin Donnelly and his fiancé, Jennifer, Wayne Tardif and Logan Philbrick; eight great-grandchildren, Ashley and Andrew Christie, Kallie, Holden, Pierce and Grant Bartley, Tyrell and Chase Tardif.
    Christine was predeceased by her husband, Lendell “Phil” E. Philbrick in 1997; three brothers and three sisters; and a great-grandson, Mason Bartley in 2007.
    Friends called 10 a.m. until time of service Saturday, Jan. 26, 2013, at Duncan-Graves Funeral Home, 30 Church St., Presque Isle, where a memorial service was held at 11 a.m. with the Very Rev. Jean Paul Labrie officiating. Spring interment will be in Fairmount Cemetery.
