PRESQUE ISLE — What do a hospital, an entrepreneur, a photographer and two musicians have in common? All will be honored during the Central Aroostook Chamber of Commerce’s annual dinner, slated for Thursday, Jan. 24.

“The County’s largest non-profit organization, largest employer and most comprehensive provider of health care services, The Aroostook Medical Center (TAMC), will be recognized as the Business of the Year at our annual awards dinner and meeting on Thursday,” said Theresa Fowler, CACC executive director.

“TAMC will be honored at the event along with other award recipients, including: Floyd Rockholt, Citizen of the Year; with a tie for Lifetime Achievement being shared by Jan and Evelyn Kok and Oscar “Voscar” Nelder,” she said.

The dinner will be held at the Presque Isle Inn & Convention Center, with a social hour and silent auction at 5:30 p.m., with dinner at 6:30 p.m. and award presentations to follow.
