KENNESON, Donna Mary, 53, FORT FAIRFIELD, at Bangor, Jan. 15, 2013. Interment will take place later in the spring at the St. Denis Catholic Cemetery, Fort Fairfield. Arrangements are in the care of Giberson-Dorsey Funeral Home, Fort Fairfield.

    FORT FAIRFIELD – Donna Mary Kenneson, 53, beloved wife of Ronnie L. Kenneson, passed away Tuesday morning, January 15, 2013, at a Bangor healthcare facility, due to complications from a tragic automobile accident. She was born August 30, 1959, in Fort Fairfield, the daughter of Richard A. “Dick” and Evelyn (Gloade) Levesque.
    Donna was a lifelong communicant of the Parish of the Precious Blood, St. Denis Catholic Church, Fort Fairfield, and a graduate of the Fort Fairfield High School, Class of 1977. She went on to further her education at the University of Maine at Orono, attaining her B.S. degree in nutrition.
    Donna was married to Ronnie Kenneson on June 19, 1982, and had been employed by the Aroostook County Action Program, Presque Isle, in their Women, Infant and Children Nutrition Program for more than thirty years, most recently as senior manager. Donna always maintained a special relationship with past as well as current A.C.A.P. staff. She served on the Fort Fairfield S.A.D. No. 20 School Board, and the Fort Fairfield Housing Authority Board of Directors. Donna was also very active in her church as well as several state and professional organizations.
    Donna’s greatest accomplishment was her family, and she greatly cherished the time spent with her grandchildren. She was also an accomplished flower gardener and loved her cats.
    Mrs. Kenneson was predeceased by her father, Dick Levesque on May 16, 2004; as well as a great-nephew, Oliver Braley. She is survived by her husband of thirty years, Ronnie of Fort Fairfield; her mother, Evelyn G. Levesque of Fort Fairfield; two sons, Aaron I. Kenneson, Jacob A. Kenneson and his companion, Lauren, all of Fort Fairfield; one brother and sister-in-law, Tony and Dee Dee Levesque of Fort Fairfield; two sisters, Denise Levesque of Caribou, Vickie Levesque of Chemo Pond; two grandchildren, Ethan Anthony Kenneson and Isabelle Sue Kenneson; two brothers-in-law, Tommy Kenneson of Texas, Jeff Kenneson and his companion, Sherry of Presque Isle; two sisters-in-law, Duska Hayman and her husband, Jerry of Veazie, Lori Kenneson of Presque Isle; three nephews, Tim Levesque of Belfast, Andrew Levesque of Fort Fairfield, Adam Kenneson and his fiancé, Katherine Nadeau of Fort Kent; two nieces, Kristina Braley, her husband, Isaac and their daughter, Emily, all of Chapman, MacKenzie Hayman of Veazie; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and extended family members, as well as many friends and associates with whom she worked with during her career and her classmates.
    The family of Mrs. Kenneson wishes to express their sincere and heartfelt gratitude to Crown Ambulance and the Fort Fairfield First Responders, as well at the TAMC Emergency Room and the Eastern Maine Medical Center I.C.U., especially the nurses for the wonderful care given to Donna and her family. To all of you, thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
    Friends called Friday, January 18, 2013, from 6 to 9 p.m. at the Giberson-Dorsey Funeral Home, 144 Main St., Fort Fairfield. A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated Sat., Jan. 19, 2013, at 11 a.m. at the Parish of the Precious Blood, St. Denis Catholic Church, 147 Main St., Fort Fairfield, with the Rev. Jean-Paul Labrie celebrant. Interment will take place later in the spring at the St. Denis Catholic Cemetery, Fort Fairfield. A time of continued fellowship with refreshments was held after the Mass at the Knights of Columbus, Council Number 1753, 260 Main St., Fort Fairfield.
