Weather postpones weather workshop
PRESQUE ISLE — A Winter Weather Sky Clue & Safety Workshop with WAGM Meteorologist Ted Shapiro scheduled for Wednesday, Jan. 23, from 7:15 to 8:45 p.m. in the University of Maine at Presque Isle’s Campus Center has been postponed — due to weather!
Officials decided due to this week’s subzero temperatures it would be safer to schedule the event for a later date, rather than have individuals get out in the cold to attend. A new date and time for the workshop will be announced when one is determined.
