    Gogan, Rev. Robert, 88, January 9, 2013.  Spring interment to be held in the Evergreen Cemetery, Houlton.  Arrangements by Bowers Funeral Home.

   PT Robert Gogan 1American Flag Color HOULTON – Rev. Robert Gogan, 88, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on January 9, 2013, surrounded by his family. He was born May 9, 1924, in Houlton, the son of Robert and Lottie (Fog) Gogan.
    Robert was a devoted husband and father. He was a man of integrity and shining example of a true servant of the Lord. He lived and practiced the word of God that he preached.
    He was born and raised in Houlton, graduating from Houlton High School. He served in the US Army during WWII and graduated from Faith School of Theology. He was a heavy equipment operator for both Donald J. Guy and his brother, Richard Gogan. He was also an over-the-road truck driver for Walter Davis and pastored at the Pentecostal churches in Danforth and Brookton for 24 years, and also attended Houlton Full Gospel Assembly.
 PT Robert Gogan 2   He is survived by his children, Deborah Bickford and her husband, and John, Michael Gogan and his wife, Pamela, and Rebekah Bickford, all of Houlton; grandchildren, John Bickford, Crystal Cummings, Samantha Jacobs, Michael Gogan Jr., Tabitha Gogan, Robert “Bo” Ivey and Heather Boulier; ten great-grand-children; sisters, Ruby Horwood and her husband, Bill, of MA, Gertrude McGary of Houlton; brother, Richard Gogan and his wife, Joan, of Houlton; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents; his loving wife of 66 years, Geraldine (Alward) Gogan; a daughter, Joanna Rae Gogan.
    The family wishes to thank the staff at Madigan Estates and Skilled Care of Houlton Regional Hospital for their loving care and Bowers Funeral Home for their wonderful services.
    Friends called 9-11 a.m. on Saturday, January 12 at Houlton Full Gospel Assembly where funeral services were held at 11 a.m. with the Revs. Kevin Hatch, Sterling Lawrence and Michael Gogan officiating.
