    McPherson, Helen M., 85, December 26, 2012.  Arrangements by Dunn Funeral Home, Houlton.  Funeral service will be held 10 a.m. today at the St. Mary of hte Visitation Church.  Spring interment to be held in the Evergreen Cemetery, Houlton.
    HOULTON – Helen M. McPherson, 85, died Dec. 26, 2012, at a local healthcare facility. She was born Oct. 31, 1927, at Houlton, the daughter of John and Frances (Pringle) Nason.
    Helen was a communicant of Saint Mary of the Visitation Church. She enjoyed bingo, spending time with her grandchildren and working for SOAR.
    Helen is survived by her six daughters, Rose Mary Watson and her husband, Lane of Ludlow, Iris Derosier of Fort Fairfield, Fran Richards of Houlton, Kathy Fogg and her husband, Bob of NH, Linda Malone and her husband, Ivan of Houlton, Teresa Allison and her husband, Jeff of KS; sixteen grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; daughter-in-law, Elizabeth McPherson Hopper; her sister, Mary Voyer of CT; sister-in-law, Mary Priscilla Nason; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
    She was predeceased by the love of her life her husband, Ted; her son, John McPherson; two sons-in-law, Mike Richards and Raymond Derosier; and her brother, Robert Nason.
    Friends called 6 to 8 p.m., Tuesday, at the Dunn Funeral Home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10 a.m., Wednesday, at  Saint Mary of the Visitation Church with Rev.
