Caribou Middle School teachers name December Students of the Month

CARIBOU, Maine — Caribou Middle School sixth-grade teachers Mr. Pelletier, Mrs. Bouchard, Ms. JaJoie and Mrs. Heidorn have chosen Ashley Violette as one of the December Students of the Month. Violette is a wonderful example to her peers through her work ethic and positive attitude. She takes pride in all she does and strives to do her best at all times.

In her spare time, Violette enjoys playing soccer and practicing the piano and flute. She is a member of the Caribou Middle School band and chorus as well as show choir. Violette always has a smile on her face and is always willing to lend a hand to help out wherever needed, her teachers said.

CMS sixth-grade teachers Mr. Pelletier, Mrs. Bouchard, Ms. LaJoie and Mrs. Heidorn have chosen Noah Hixon as one of the December Students of the Month. Hixon is a very thoughtful student, always willing to help his peers and teachers when needed. He comes to class prepared and willing to participate in classroom discussions every day.

Hixon has a wonderful sense of humor, which makes him a great addition to any classroom. He is a friend to all students and works well with everybody, according to his teachers. Hixon plays the trumpet in the CMS Band and also enjoys the outdoors and going hunting in the fall.

 

Camden Huck has been selected as one of the seventh-grade Students of the Month for December by his teachers. Huck is an outstanding student of high character. He is especially kind to his peers and always respectful toward his teachers.

Always willing to help with an easy-going personality, Huck is a well-respected and much loved student. His work ethic is without question and he strives to be the best student he can every day in the classroom. Huck is very deserving of this recognition, according to his teachers.

 

The grade-seven teachers have chosen Meagan Dube as one of December’s Students of the Month. Dube’s involvement in CMS is impressive. She participates in band, jazz band, chorus, show choir, soccer, tennis, student government as a homeroom representative, and also belongs to the Girl Scouts.

Dube is an excellent student, always eager to help others with her kindness and generosity, making her an outstanding selection for this distinction. She balances academics with extracurricular activities while still contributing to the school community as a wonderful role model, according to her teachers.

 

Katelyn Clark has been selected as one of the eighth-grade Students of the Month for December. Clark was chosen by her eighth-grade teachers because of her positive attitude toward schoolwork, classes, teachers and classmates.

Clark is currently a member of the CMS band as well as the eighth-grade basketball team. She also plans on trying out for softball this spring. Clark is always willing to help out a fellow classmate or a teacher, often without even being asked. She is a great example for all at Caribou Middle School. With her fabulous work ethic and treatment of others, Clark is a true role model, said her teachers.

 

Jillian Jandreau has been selected as one of the CMS eighth-grade Students of the Month for December. Jandreau was chosen because of her positive attitude toward schoolwork, classes, teachers and classmates. She runs cross-country, manages soccer, plays basketball and plans to ski this year at CMS. Jandreau loves basketball and is an active member of AYBL. She is a great example for all at Caribou Middle School.     With her marvelous work ethic and treatment of others, Jandreau is a true role model, according to her teachers.
