PI led 25-5 after the quarter break, gave up eight consecutive points to begin the second quarter but regrouped and led by 27 points at intermission.

Tyler Brooks scored 13 points and Bradley Shields added 10. Corey Willette pulled down a team-best five rebounds.

Riley Tapley was 0-4 Bapst’s lone double-digit scorer with 12 points.

Also on Thursday, the Wildcat girls used a stingy defense, holding the Crusaders to four first-half points, and won their fifth consecutive game to begin the season by a 63-19 final.
