PRESQUE ISLE — maurices, a clothing store at the Aroostook Centre Mall, is holding a food and clothing drive to benefit the Sister Mary O’Donnell Homeless Shelter in Presque Isle.
“While we participate in a number of maurices-sponsored benefits throughout the year, we are especially proud when we have the opportunity to support causes right here at home,” said Store Manager April Flinta.
The food and clothing drive continues through Dec. 22. Customers can drop off their donations any time during store hours — Monday through Friday from 9:30 a.m.-9 p.m., Saturday from 8 a.m.-10 p.m., and Sunday from 10 a.m.-7 p.m.
For each donation, people will receive a coupon for 20 percent off any one regular-priced maurices item.
“This drive is just one way we can express how grateful we are to be a part of this community,” Flinta said. “We invite customers to be part of this effort and look forward to giving them a special deal on an item from maurices in return.”
