LIMESTONE — The Caribou swim team entertained the Old Town Coyotes in a Saturday afternoon meet held at the Limestone Community Pool.
Old Town took the girls’ meet, 134-31, as well as the boys’ meet, 97-36.
The Vikings did manage a victory in the boys’ 200-yard freestyle relay behind Darren Newbegin, Grant Bennett, Austin Scott and Tom McLean, whose time was 1:59.78 and 1.52 seconds faster than Old Town’s team.
Caribou will close out 2012 with a meet at Mount Desert Island Friday, and then the team will host another meet on Saturday, Dec. 29. Foxcroft Academy and Presque Isle are the other teams which will be competing in the 1 p.m. event.
