    HOULTON – Theresa Cameron passed away on December 12 at a local healthcare facility. She was born June 23, 1919 in Bridgewater to Walter and Zella (Dickinson) Welch. In 1937, she was married to Leon Cameron of Houlton. They were married for 65 years.
    Theresa was predeceased by her husband, Leon; her daughter, Carole Altomare; sisters, Madeline Bradstreet and Gladys Gardner; brother, Max Welch; and a very special cousin, Vilda Adams.
    She is survived by her daughter, Sharon (Culver) Rogers of TX and a son, Douglas (Denise) Cameron of Smyrna. Her grandchildren include Derrick Cameron, Marina Cameron, Lezlie Brothag, Robin Carlson, Paige O’Hara and Jennifer Rogers.
    Theresa was a devoted member of the Houlton United Methodist Church for 70 years and assumed many positions of leadership. She enjoyed the fellowship of lifelong friends within the church community.
    Funeral services were held December 15 at Dunn Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made to Houlton United Methodist Church and Cary Memorial Library. Interment will be in the spring.
