Ark Animal Sanctuary presents “Miracle on Mechanic Street” to be held on Saturday, Dec. 8 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Mechanic and Main Streets in Houlton. This fundraising event will feature the 12 Dogs of Christmas Parade from 12-2 p.m. and Pet Photos with Santa from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. There will also be opportunities to support Ark Animal Sanctuary with a Giving Tree and craft fair, silent auction and raffle, a bake sale and candy sale, Christmas trees and wreaths for sale, as well as snacks and dinners “to go.” Participants are invited to keep warm by the fire pits while enjoying hot chocolate and coffee. Pets are available for adoption.
