Take Off pounds sensibly met at the Aldergate Building on High Street for its Friday, Nov. 30, meeting. Several members were greeted after the Thanksgiving holiday by leader Diane Folsom. Loser of the week was Joanne Scott with Shirley Ethier as runner-up.
The skinny dish was held over. Barbara Whited distributed several charms for October: Joanne Scott, Lois Downing, Betty Ivey, Shirley Nethier and Mildred Gagnon. Our Christmas party will be at the Smoki Haulers Snowmobile clubhouse Friday, Dec. 7. Members who want to participate are to bring a wrapped gift not exceeding in value of $5. The dinner menu will consist of pot roast with various desserts.
