Private Eugene Ivey recently completed his basic combat training at Fort Leonard Wood, Mo. As part of the split training program for the Maine Army National Guard, Ivey will return to Fort Leonard Wood after graduating from high school to complete his advanced individual training as a 31B (military police). Upon completion, he will be assigned to 488th Military Police Company in Houlton. He is the son of Ted Ivey Sr. of Ludlow and Eileen Bustard of Houlton.
