PRESQUE ISLE – Doreene Kay Jackson, 84, died Sunday morning, Nov. 18, 2012, at a Bangor hospital. She was born on September 8, 1928, in Van Buren, the daughter of John and Teresa (Doucette) Walsh. She worked for a number of years at New Milford Hospital in Conn., and then at McCain Foods.
She is survived by two sons and their wives, Fred and Janice Jackson of New Sweden, Perry and Lorri Jackson of Presque Isle; two stepsons, Richard Jackson and Wilfred Jackson; a daughter, Donna Dickinson of Portland; a brother, Donald Walsh of New Haven, Conn.; two sisters, Ann White of Haverhill, Mass., and Margaret Silva of Virginia; 12 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren.
Doreene was predeceased by her husband, Percy C. Jackson; a son-in-law, Wayne Dickinson; an infant brother; four other brothers, Ralph, John Jr., Patrick, Michael Walsh; and a sister, Karen Walsh.
