    MONTICELLO – Royce L. Brooker, 70, beloved father and friend, died Nov. 13, 2012 surrounded by his family at a local hospital. He was born April 6, 1942 at Caswell, the son of George and Hulda (Howland) Brooker.
    Royce is survived by his nine children, James Brooker and his wife, Agnes, of Houlton, Lee Brooker and his wife, Cindy, of Monticello, Ronald Brooker and his wife, Kelley, of Ludlow, Lenard Brooker, David Boles and Daniel Boles, all of Houlton, Sally Gray of Parkman, Angelia Hanning and her husband, Mark, of Monticello, Kristy Brooker and her fiancé, Nicholas Charette, of Presque Isle; 25 grandchildren, nine great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; close friend, Don Hanson, partner Joann. He was predeceased by his parents; his beloved wife, Margaret Brooker; his son, Allen Brooker; his brother, Albert Brooker; and his sister, Nola Harris.
    Funeral services were held at the Dunn Funeral Home Friday, Nov. 16 with Rev. Wayne Robertson officiating. Interment was in the Jewell Cemetery.
