Willette, Eva M., 90, of Limestone, on November 5, 2012.  Arrangements are in the care of the Giberson-Dorsey Funeral Home, Fort Fairfield.


AR Eva Willette OBLIMESTONE – Eva M. Willette, 90, joined her husband, Walter “Bernard” Willette in heaven, Monday, November 5, 2012, at a Caribou nursing facility. She was born April 1, 1922, in Caswell, the daughter of Alex and Flavie (Lavoie) King and was educated in Caswell.

Eva was a lifelong dedicated communicant of the Parish of the Precious Blood, St. Louis Catholic Church, Limestone.

Eva enjoyed spending her time tending to her garden and flowers. She looked forward to her evening walks and could often be seen rocking in her chair on her front porch. She was a woman of strong faith who dedicated her life to her children. Eva taught her children to be strong, loving and compassionate. She was a loving and devoted mother, grandmother, great- and great-great-grandmother. “We were so fortunate to have such a wonderful mother to guide us through our journey in life. Thank you Mom, we love you and will miss you. You will be forever in our hearts.”

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Willette was preceded in death by her husband, Walter “Bernard” Willette Sr. in 1958; her loving son, Stanley M. Willette in 2006; four brothers, Zavier, Ozime, George and Clifford King; four sisters, Leona LaForge, Leda Dupre, Bertha Legasse and Ann King.

She is survived by five sons, Walter B. “Junior” Willette Jr., Gordon J. Willette, both of Limestone, Lawrence J. Willette of Fort Fairfield, Daniel R. Willette and his wife, Ellen of Randolph, MA, Gerald L. Willette and his wife, Becki of North Berwick, ME; five daughters, Theresa Jonscher of Bossier City, LA, Rita Reiff and her husband, Ralf Jr. of Mont-gomery, AL, Clara Cranmer and her husband, Dave of Elizabeth-town, PA, Lorraine Stewart of Weymouth, MA, Diane Natishak and her husband, David of Peru, NY; one sister, Irene Levesque of Bristol, CT; 17 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.

The Willette family would like to thank the staff of the Caribou Rehabilitation Center and Nursing Home, especially Marilyn Pelletier, for the loving care given to their mother, a special thank you to Geneva St. Pierre for her kindness and friendship which meant so much to Eva.

Friends called Thursday, November 8, 2012, from 7 to 9 p.m., at the Giberson-Dorsey Funeral Home, 144 Main St., Fort Fairfield, where a vigil service was conducted at 7:30 p.m. by the Rev. Emile Dube. A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated Friday, November 9, 2012, at 11 a.m. at the Parish of the Precious Blood, St. Louis Catholic Church, 100 Main St., Limestone, with Rev. Emile Dube celebrant. Interment took place after the Mass at the St. Louis Catholic Cemetery, Limestone. A time of continued fellowship with refreshments was held after the interment at the St. Louis Parish reception area.
