Katahdin Trust Co. promotions

    HOULTON — Jon J. Prescott, President and CEO of Katahdin Trust Company, has announced the promotions of Diane Green to vice president and Billi Blanchard to the officer position of trainer.
    “It’s always a pleasure to recognize outstanding employees by way of their promotions,” Prescott said. “I congratulate both Diane and Billi on their respective promotions which will be reflected in outstanding service benefiting our customers. Diane has done an exceptional job directing the efforts of our Presque Isle office, while Billi continues to ensure that our employees are well-trained and on the leading edge of technical knowledge and skills.”

     Green has been affiliated with Katahdin Trust Company for 20 years. She is a native of Presque Isle and in her new role will continue with her responsibilities as Manager and Retail Services Officer at the Presque Isle office.  A graduate of Presque Isle High School, Green has also completed studies at the National Consumer Credit School and the American Bankers Association’s Consumer Credit program. Throughout her career she has been very active in civic and community activities and currently serves on the board of directors for Homeless Services of Aroostook, Junior Achievement of Central Aroostook and the Kiwanis Club of Presque Isle.  She also serves as a council member and teacher for the Northern New England Center for Financial Training. Mrs. Green and her husband, Richard, reside in Easton and have two grown children: Daren Green and Meaghan Ellis.

    Blanchard joined Katahdin Trust Company’s Training Department in 2011, after a brief career in insurance sales and service. As Trainer, Blanchard is responsible for the development, coordination and facilitation of training for new and existing employees. A Presque Isle native, she is a 2007 graduate of the University of Maine, Orono, where she earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication.  Ms. Blanchard is active in the Young Professionals Institute and recently completed the American Management Association’s Human Resources and Management Certificate programs. She and her partner Joel Griffeth reside in Fort Fairfield with their daughter, Kapri.
