SACO — MBNation’s third annual East vs. West Basketball Showcase will take place Sunday at the Saco Recreation Center.
Those invited to participate from Aroostook County are Washburn’s Mitchell Worcester and Katahdin’s Colton Bivighouse on the East senior team, Houlton’s Nick Guiod on the East junior team, Caribou’s Dayne Savage and Houlton’s Kyle Bouchard on the East sophomore team and Houlton’s Garrett Putnam and Caribou’s Donovan Savage on the East freshmen team.
Nolan Altvater of Southern Aroostook is invited to play in the Futures game (seventh- and eighth-graders).
Selected to play in the East junior-senior squad was Caribou’s Alexa Massey and Presque Isle’s Chandler Guerrette. Invited to participate in the freshmen-sophomore squad are Washburn’s MacKenzie Worcester and Presque Isle’s Krystal Kingsbury and Hannah Graham.
Games will begin at 9 a.m., with the final one being played at 4:30 p.m.
