Caribou — Paul Haley, 80, died October 30, 2012, at Caribou. He was born in Caribou, April 27, 1932, the son of the late William and Cleo (Radcliff) Haley. Mr. Haley was a graduate of Caribou High School and served with the US Army from 1953-1956. He was a member of the Henry B Pratt Post 15 American Legion and enjoyed playing golf, building model boats and was known to play a “mean” game of pool in his day.
He is survived by his daughter, Leslie Hunter of North Carolina; a dear friend and former spouse, Susan Trollinger of North Carolina; two grandchildren, Madison and Brooke Hunter; a niece, Paula Farmer and her husband, Raymond of Wiscasset; and a nephew, Bill Haley and his family of Vinalhaven Island. Mr. Haley was predeceased by a brother, Blair.
Memorial services with military honors were held 11 a.m. Saturday, November 3, 2012, from the Chapel of the Mockler Funeral Home with Pastor Ellen Cleaves, officiating. Interment took place in the Northern Maine Veterans Cemetery Caribou. www.mocklerfuneralhome.com
