Contributed photoHoulton Southside School’s After School Program received a “Fast Track Grant” from Maine Community Foundation, which was used to buy educational Lego sets and two digital cameras. Students will be taking the cameras home and photographing structures within our community with their parents. During the After School Program, students will use the Legos to replicate what they have photographed. This project will last throughout the school and will end with an Open House displaying their end products in the spring. Pictured with the Legos and cameras are, front row from left, Drew Belmain, Jeremiah Ireland, Emma Patterson, Julie Ross and Karlee Brisley; and back, Taylor Cowan, Hannah Pierce, Gracie Theriault and Melanie Donahue.
