Kendra (Conroy) and Michael Whitmer
Kendra Conroy and Michael Whitmer were united in marriage during an outdoor ceremony at their home in Newport, Tennessee on August 3, 2012. Reeni Martinson, minister and family friend of the groom, performed the ceremony. Kendra’s sister, Makenzie Conroy, was the maid of honor.
Kendra is the daughter of Ralph and Vickie Conroy of Woodland and the granddaughter of Marilee Conroy of Woodland and Millie Tranbarger of Fort Fairfield, Maine. Kendra is a 2007 graduate of Easton High School and is currently completing courses through Penn Foster College to pursue a career in the dental field.
Michael is the son of Jim Whitmer of Bigelow, Arkansas and Jill Pruitt and Roy Pruitt of Hartford, Tennessee. Michael is a 2004 graduate of Cosby High School in Cosby, Tennessee and graduated from the Walter’s State Police Academy in Greeneville, Tennessee. Michael is employed as a Deputy Sheriff for the Cocke County Sheriff’s Department in Newport, Tennessee.
After a weeklong honeymoon in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, Kendra and Michael returned to their home in Newport, Tennessee.
