COTE, Carol Ann, 71, of Caribou, on October 28, 2012. Friends may call at the funeral home 6-8 p.m., Thursday. Funeral services will be held 1 p.m., November 2, at the Family Christian Center. Arrangements are in the care of the Mockler Funeral Home, Caribou.
CARIBOU – Carol Ann Cote, 71, died at her home in Caribou on October 28, 2012. An Angel of Earth is now an Angel of Heaven. She was born in Bridgewater, March 12, 1941, the daughter of the late Mearl and Frances (McNinch) Delong. Carol graduated from Bridgewater Classical Academy. Carol married Freeman Cote on September 2, 1972, they happily celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary this year. Mrs. Cote was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She was an amazing lady who never met a stranger and was loved by all who knew her. Her love for God and for her family was evident in every aspect of her life. Carol fought her nine-year battle with cancer with strength and grace. Mrs. Cote was a member of the Family Christian Center in Presque Isle.
She will be sadly missed by her husband, Freeman of Caribou; her daughters, Tammy and husband, Carlos Gonzalez of Perth Amboy, NJ, Lisa and husband, Rick Bailey of Lexington, KY, April and husband, Simon Sandstrom of Portland, ME; her sons, Vaughn Dyer and wife, Jan of Lexington, KY, Danny Dyer of Frankfort, KY; and was predeceased by her son, Mearl “Louie” Cote in 2003; ten grandchildren, Erica, Mandy, Daniel, Drew, Dawn, Richelle, Christopher, Emily, Brooklyn and Lucy; and three great-grandchildren; three sisters, Shiela Barnes of Georgetown, KY, Cynthia Tracy of Stockholm, Barb Tapley and Fred of Blaine.
Friends may call at the Mockler Funeral Home, 24 Reservoir Street, Caribou, 6-8 p.m. Thursday. Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Friday, November 2, 2012, at the Family Christian Center with Rev.
