Adams for the House
To the editor:
Darrell Adams is running for the House of Representatives representing Fort Fairfield, Mars Hill, Easton, Blaine, Westfield and Bridgewater. He has worked in the business world as a pharmacist for the past 38 years and is very much in tune with the struggles of all of us when it comes to medical costs. He has seen too many citizens agonize as they decide whether to purchase their medications, food or fuel oil to heat their homes. Being a pharmacist, he is well aware of the issues of the business community.
Darrell Adams considers all issues on their merit rather than following the commands of someone in the Blaine House. He has received endorsements from the Maine Teacher’s Association, Maine State Employees’ Association, AFL-CIO, Maine People’s Alliance, and endorsements from several other organizations as well as an “A+” rating from the Sportsman’s Alliance of Maine.
Darrell Adams supports the elimination of the income tax on pensions and retirement income, a greater emphasis on trade schools, expansion of the alternative energy resources including wind power, solar power, tidal power and increasing the availability of natural gas for the entire state.
I’ve been on the Fort Fairfield Town Council for the past 11 years and am currently in my 45th year as a science teacher at Fort Fairfield Middle High School. I strongly support Darrell Adams for the Maine House of Representatives and urge you to consider doing the same.
