PICC announces golf winners
Presque Isle Country Club professional Barry Madore has released the list of winners for the golf season.

TWILIGHT LEAGUE CHAMPS — The duo of Mileah Brown, left, and Darlene Higgins, in top photo, captured this year’s Presque Isle Country Club Ladies Twilight League championship.
At bottom, the team of Frank Bemis, left, and Charles Short was the winner this year’s Men’s Twilight League championship.
Club champions were named in 11 divisions. Junior-junior, Hunter Flynn; junior, Michael Boone; ladies A Flight, Susan Black; B Flight, Susan Maynard; senior ladies, Darlene Higgins; men’s A Flight (match play), Ralph Michaud; A Flight (medal play), Rick Collins; B Flight, Charles Violette; C Flight, Tyler Player; senior men, Dan Hotham; super senior, Frank Keenan.
Winning the President’s Cup on the ladies’ side was Kathy Maynard, with Michaud taking top honors for men.
Greg Thompson and Scott Wyman were victorious in the memorial tournament. The husband-and-wife champions were Charles and Margaret Violette for gross and John and Kelly Cole for net.
Capturing the couples night cup were Elton and Caroline Thibodeau.
For the Ladies Twilight League, Mileah Brown and Darlene Higgins were the winners, while on the men’s side, Frank Bemis and Charles Short were victorious.
The most improved golfers were Jenna Hallett for ladies and Greg Hallett for men.
The 45th Coca-Cola Spudland Open winners were Patrick Otto for low gross and Aaron Keirstead for low net.
Three holes-in-one have been recorded so far: Frank Keenan on hole No. 8 on May 7, Harold Soucy on hole No. 16 on May 21 and Kati Bell on hole No. 4 on Aug. 19.
