Constituents deserve answers
To the editor:
Over the last several months, Kevin Raye, candidate for Congress, has made Aroostook County a priority of his during this campaign. During his visits, Kevin takes the time to meet with farmers and businesses across the county because he realizes how important they are to the economy in Aroostook County, and the rest of Maine.
I was very surprised to hear that the Michaud Campaign does not think Aroostook County is a priority for them, and declined to debate on WAGM. Congressman Michaud apparently does not think it is important to explain why he has an 11 percent rating with the Farm Bureau, and a “0” rating with small business. I expect a lot from my Congressman, and I want answers.
We need a stronger voice in Washington, someone who understands the importance of farms and small businesses to our economy, and someone who is front and center on the tough issues. We need Kevin Raye.
