Bob has right mix of background
To the editor:
Represent: to act for or in behalf of a constituency. This is something only a few citizens of District 5 have had this past two years in the state legislature and I urge voters in the district to go to the polls and elect Bob Saucier to represent us for the next two years.
Bob understands the people he seeks to represent and he knows that once elected his role is to protect the interest of all the citizens in the district, work with the Aroostook delegation in support of the interest of the County as a whole, and see that actions in Augusta do not harm the people here in northern Maine.
Bob will work to restore the revenue sharing funds taken from our community to support a political party agenda. He will work to further strengthen our educational systems. He will seek to repair the safety net for the vulnerable in our communities. And he will work for good jobs that keep our young adults home and attract others to come here and call it home.
Bob has the right mix of background to make this all happen. His work in the public sector with Social Security leaves him well versed in the retirement and health care issues that face our elderly. His work as a small business owner provides the understanding needed to assist business with market and job growth. He is a veteran and understands how important it is to support those who have served our country.
Having served as an elected official with the city of Presque Isle I know how important it is to work together toward the common good at the local level. After all, it is what happens close to home that really makes a difference in our everyday lives. I am confident that Bob Saucier has this same philosophy and I urge you to vote for him to represent us in the Maine House of Representatives.
