EASTON NEWS

The Easton and Presque Isle Wesleyan churches joined together to host the “Huddle,” a conference for teens and adults working with children in their churches.

Ninety-eight workers from Aroostook County and New Brunswick gathered to listen to Alex Bougain, child evangelism fellowship director in northern Maine, and Eleanor McVicor, children’s director from Lower Brighton, talk about how the church can minister to and impact children with the Bible.

Workshops were presented by the children’s pastors, children’s directors and school teachers. Topics covered working with children who have special needs, storytelling, using puppets, program curriculum ideas and the newest children’s music. Special presentations included puppet teams from both churches as well as the County Clowns from Oakfield. It was a great day.
