VAN BUREN – Donna L. Franck, 73, died Sept. 14, 2012, at a Van Buren health care facility after a courageous battle with lung cancer. She was born in Caswell, May 5, 1939, the daughter of Richard and Velma (King) Tracy.
Donna enjoyed hunting and fishing with her husband, Jimmy Franck. She also loved working in her flower garden, crocheting and sewing doll clothes for her many little friends. Donna was employed for many years as a teller for Northern National Bank and County Federal Credit Union. She was a member of the VFW Auxiliary of Caribou.
Donna is survived by her loving husband of 17 years, Jimmy Franck, Jr. of Van Buren Cove at Long Lake; three sons, Douglas CK Morrell and wife, Jennia of Caribou, James Morrell of Caribou, Richard Morrell and wife, Mary of Somers, CT; stepchildren, Arlene, Richard, Danny and Debbie; one brother, Bob Tracy of Caribou; two sisters, Betty Wright of Caribou and Dorothy Tracy of Westbrook; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, Donna was predeceased by three brothers, Dickie, Gary and Arthur.
A funeral Mass was celebrated on Tuesday, Sept. 18, at the St. Bruno-St. Remi Catholic Church. The family of Donna extends their sincere gratitude to the staff at Borderview nursing facility for the exceptional care given to her during her stay.
