Easton man busted for meth production

MDEA AGENTS have made another meth bust, this time at a Houlton Road residence in Easton. Agents arrested Brian White, 30, on Aug. 29, following a tip reporting suspicious activity at the home.
EASTON — A local resident was arrested last week and charged with making methamphetamine.
“Brian White, 30, of Easton, was arrested for making methamphetamine Aug. 29, following a tip of suspicious activity,” said MDEA District Commander Darrell Crandall.
According to Crandall, MDEA agents were alerted to suspicious activity Wednesday night and responded to an Easton residence located at 529 Houlton Road.
“A search of the area resulted in agents locating White in his 1999 Ford sedan. White was charged and his vehicle seized,” said Crandall.
Agents also secured his mobile home and began working on a search warrant.
“Shortly after 2 p.m. on Aug. 30, MDEA’s team began executing the warrant,” said Crandall.
Crandall did not indicate what type of evidence was found, but did state the case remains under investigation.
MDEA agents were assisted with the investigation by members of the Department of Environmental Protection, Easton Fire Department and Maine State Police.
