Bess the Book Bus draws big crowd to Civic Center

NE-CLR-Book Bus-dc1-pt-35BOOK CHOICES — Bess the Book Bus, a mobile literacy program, made a stop in Houlton Saturday to pass out free books to area children. In addition, the John Millar Civic Center was buzzing with numerous children’s games, food and activities.

A large crowd of youngsters made their way to through the arena to get a free book, play kids’ games and enjoy a light lunch.
