Balloon Fest will feature vendors galore
PRESQUE ISLE — The success of last year’s arts and crafts vendors has encouraged a larger number to participate this year in the art and craft area during the Crown of Maine Balloon Fest!
The array of items that will be available during the festival is impressive and unique to the region. There will be vendors selling handmade wooden spinners, purse and scarf magnets, handmade needle felted animals, pillows and wall hangers, photography, folk art and handcrafted jewelry, wire wrapped jewelry, beads, candles, crochet and knit items, simmer pots, children’s books, hand towels, Pampered Chef products, oil paintings, painted Maine balloons, hand painted signs, ornaments, home décor items, heart health information and more.
There will be something for everyone.
In addition to these vendors, there will be lots of opportunities to satisfy your hunger and thirst!
The Crow’s Nest Restaurant and Event Center will have coffee and breakfast sandwiches available during the morning launches. In the evening there will be a great variety of food to choose from.
While waiting for the balloons to prepare for launch, between the launch and when the balloons return for the evening glow, Saturday during the day, or whenever you have time, stop by the Commercial Exhibition building and visit with artisans and crafters from throughout the state of Maine.
This is the ideal opportunity to purchase something to remind you of hot air balloons throughout the year!
