Lawn ornament has been found

To the editor:
    A letter was published June 12, 2012 regarding a missing memento. The item has been found and returned. A couple of weeks after the letter was written, a family member was at my home and he was teasing my son-in-law about “hiding it better.” We didn’t have a clue where it was found and by whom.
    This writer would like to thank Jackie for retrieving it from the river and passing it on to family members for its safe return. This means even more now that my mother has passed away.
