CONNOLLY, Terry Lee, 54, of Dresden, on July 13, 2012.  A celebration of Terry’s life will be held at R. Wayne Connolly’s home, Perham on July 28 at 6 p.m.


American Flag ColorDRESDEN – Terry Lee Connolly died July 13, 2012, at Androscoggin Hospice House in Auburn. He was born in Mars Hill July 26, 1957, to Roger M. Connolly and Gloria J (Collins) Connolly. He grew up in Perham and graduated from Washburn High School, Class of 1975. Terry served his country in the United States Air Force for two years and was honorably discharged. After returning, he worked with his brother and father in the family business for a short time. He then moved to Brunswick and worked at Bath Iron Works for many years. Terry has made his home in Dresden for the past 30 years.

Terry is survived by his wife, Trish (Klapprodt) Connolly of Dresden and daughters, Sarah Connolly and Rich, Nicole Connolly and Tim. “He was the BEST loving and supportive father anyone could ask for.” Also surviving are step-children Travis and Brittany West; mother, Gloria Connolly; father, Roger M. Connolly and wife, Joan Connolly; brother Roger Wayne Connolly and wife, Linda; sister, Patty Doody and husband, Dale; step brother, Greg Snyder and wife, Stina; stepsisters, Jean Snyder and friend, Mark, and Jill Snyder and partner, Corey; step-sister-in-law, Ellie Jordan and husband, Dean; and the mother of his two daughters, Cheryl (Doody) Wallace; many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by step-brother, Chris Snyder. Terry is also survived by special friends, Kevin Jones and partner, June, Kevin & Lisa McGlinn, and many other close friends.

As to Terry’s wishes, there will be no calling hours. Terry’s ashes will be spread at a place of his choice by family and friends. A celebration of Terry’s life will be held at R. Wayne Connolly’s home, Nutting Road in Perham on July 28 at 6 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Cancer Society or the Androscoggin Hospice House in Auburn.
