Parent makes dean’s list
WORCESTER, Mass. — Taylor Parent of Van Buren has been named to the dean’s list for the spring 2012 semester at Assumption College with a GPA of 3.5 or higher. Parent is a member of the Class of 2012.
Area students make UMM dean’s List
MACHIAS — Four local residents were among more than 300 students from the University of Maine at Machias who were named to the dean’s list for the spring 2012 semester. Making the grade were Nancy Chabot, Ashley Theriault and Deanna Viola, all of Caribou; and Robert Blaisdell of Connor Twp.
Flick receives academic honors
BOSTON — Two local students were recently named to the Northeastern University dean’s list for the spring semester, which ended in May 2012.
Caribou resident Katelyn Flick, a psychology major, and Ethan Anderson, an economics major from Westmanland, received a letter of commendation and congratulation from their college dean.
To achieve the dean’s list distinction, students must carry a full program of at least four courses, have a quality point average of 3.5 or greater and carry no single grade lower than a C- during the course of their college career.
