    PRESQUE ISLE – Wilfred Guerrette, 89, passed away July 6, 2012, surrounded by his loving family at a Presque Isle health care facility. He was born in Presque Isle on August 22, 1922, the son of Peter and Corina (Martin) Guerrette.
    He was a chemical salesman for Agway, Inc. for many years. He volunteered at the St. Mary’s Food Pantry in Presque Isle.
    He is survived by his wife, Rita (Page) Guerrette of Presque Isle; two sons, Reno and his wife, Cleo of Mapleton, and Gary and his companion, Bev Erickson of Presque Isle; two daughters, Joan Dyer and her husband, Daniel of Chapman, and Nancy Cadorette and her husband, Robert of Bangor; two brothers and their wives, Phil and Kay Guerrette, Nelson and Carmella Guerrette, all of Presque Isle; four sisters: Angie Powers and Arlene Elliott, both of Presque Isle, Edna Albert and her husband, Camille of Fort Kent, and Corinne Levesque and her husband, Alphonse of Caribou; a brother-in-law, Vaughn Drost of Presque Isle; eight grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; many loving nieces and nephews.
    He was predeceased by four sisters, Lorraine Tardy, Marlene Forbes, Gloria St. Peter and Annie Drost; four brothers, Carl, Paul, Reno and Peter Guerrette.
    A Mass of Christian burial was celebrated 10 a.m., Tuesday, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Parish of the Precious Blood, with the Rev. Emile Dube Celebrant. Relatives and friends called 6-8 p.m., Monday at the Duncan-Graves Funeral Home, 30 Church St., Presque Isle. Interment was at North Main Street Catholic Cemetery, Presque Isle.
