To the editor:
I would like to publicly extend my sincere thanks and gratitude to all the wonderful and caring friends, neighbors and associates for all their thoughts, prayers and acts of kindness extended to me during my recent, but extended, hospitalization.
My heartfelt thanks also go to the members of Ashland VFW Post 9699 Auxiliary, the Portage Red Hat Loonies, the Ashland Senior Citizens Club, the Portage Lake Over 50 Club and the Philander Rebecca Lodge No. 122, I.O.O.F. of Caribou.
A very special thanks to Wilza Robertson, Mark Rafford, Rill Stevens and Ricky Carney for your unselfish acts of kindness and friendship during this difficult time.
