CARIBOU – Shawn R. Mac Arthur, 25, passed away unexpectedly, Friday, June 22, 2012, at Bangor healthcare facility. He was born August 26, 1986, in Caribou, the son of Daniel C. & Janet G. (Donovan) Mac Arthur. He was a graduate of the Caribou High School Class of 2004 and continued his education at Maine Job Corps, Bangor, where he was enrolled in their welding program.
Shawn was a member of the Caribou United Baptist Church where he taught Sunday school and participated in the Boys Brigade and Youth Group.
He is survived by his parents, Daniel C. Mac Arthur of Portland and Janet G. Donovan of Caribou; one brother, Christopher Mac Arthur of Caribou.
A graveside service will be conducted on Tuesday, July 3, 2012 at 11 a.m. at the Peers Cemetery, Caswell, with the Rev. David Donovan officiating. Those who wish may contribute in memory of Shawn to his family, Janet G. Donovan, 137 High Street, Apt# 5, Caribou, 04736. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Giberson-Dorsey Funeral Home, 144 Main Street, Fort Fairfield.
