PRESQUE ISLE, Maine — Two hundred and fifty students graduated from the University of Maine at Presque Isle during the 2011-12 academic year. During the May 12 commencement exercises, the university’s 103rd commencement, President Donald Zillman conferred degrees upon 161 students who participated in the ceremony held in Wieden Gymnasium.

PRESQUE ISLE, Maine — Forty-three Northern Maine Community College students were honored recently at the annual President’s Scholar Luncheon on campus. The students earned the distinction of obtaining a perfect 4.0 grade point average during either, or both, the spring or fall 2011 semesters at the college.
