Pat Buckley, of Westfield, has reached a milestone with UPS, completing 25 years of service with the company.
Buckley began his career with UPS in January 1987 at the Fort Fairfield center as a pre-loader and part-time Next Day Air delivery driver. In May 1989, he moved to Rockland to become a full-time delivery driver. While there, he eventually covered all 19 of the company’s delivery runs.
In March 1992, Buckley moved back to the County to drive for the Presque Isle center and eventually delivered on all 14 of their runs. In 1996, he began delivering out of the Island Falls center where he handled on all eight of the business’s runs.

For two years, 2000-2002, Buckley returned to the Presque Isle center, before moving to the new Houlton center where he has been ever since.
Buckley is proud, but humbled, to wear the UPS “brown” for the past 25 years and is honored and grateful to have this job. He has now completed 19 years of safe driving and hopes to complete 34 years before retiring with the company after 40 years of service.
Buckley lives in Westfield with his wife, Sheryl Ann, and two daughters, Jodie and Jordan. His other daughter, Brooke, lives in Presque Isle, and his two stepsons, Branda and Anthony, live in Randolph and Sydney, respectively.
