The Ark Animal Sanctuary will be hosting Beale Street Barbecue, featuring one of northern Maine’s hard rock-n-blues bands, Doubletap, on Saturday, July 7 at 1 p.m. on the corner of Main and Mechanic streets.
Organizers said, “We are going to block off a street, set up some tables and chairs, grill hot dogs, hamburgers, sausage and peppers, along with chili, baked beans and meatballs subs. Also being served are nachos, potato and macaroni salads, as well as baked sale items.
The show is free.
