DISTRICT COURT
PRESQUE ISLE — The following cases were heard in the District Court in Presque Isle during the month of April.
• Derek B. Demerchant, 25, Mars Hill: operating while license suspended or revoked, $350 fine.
• Peter J. Deschaine, 21, Presque Isle: minor possessing liquor, $300 fine.
• Mark Desmond, 42, Presque Isle: violating condition of release, $250 fine and 48 hours in jail.
• William P. Dillon, 30, Presque Isle: domestic violence terrorizing (two counts), 13 days in jail (each); domestic violence assault (two counts), $300 fine, six months in jail, all but 13 days suspended and two years’ probation (first) and $300 fine and 13 days in jail (second); and violating condition of release, $500 fine and 13 days in jail.
• Derrick Doody, 19, Ashland: failing to operate snowmobile at prudent speed, $100 fine.
• Larry A. Easler, 35, Washburn: theft by unauthorized taking or transfer (three counts), 10 days in jail (each), $11 restitution (first); and violating condition of release, 10 days in jail.
• Samuel Esancy, 27, Mapleton: failing to register vehicle, $100 fine.
• Shane Evens, 20, Presque Isle: minor possessing liquor, $200 fine.
• Ryan J. Everett, 25, Washburn: domestic violence assault, dismissed.
• Jordan A. Field, 29, Mars Hill: violating condition of release, $250 fine and seven days in jail; and operating unregistered snowmobile, $200 fine.
• Louis F. Finemore, 26, Bridgewater: theft by unauthorized use of property, $300 fine.
• Thomas C. Grant, 19, Gorham: minor transporting liquor, $100 fine and 30-day license suspension.
• Brittany Graves, 19, Presque Isle: minor possessing liquor, $200 fine.
• Traci A. Halvorson, 47, Easton: dog chasing moose, deer or wild turkey, $300 fine.
• Ross Hayes, 29, Presque Isle: OUI, $500 fine, 48 hours in jail and 90-day license suspension.
