DICKINSON, Frances A., 86, WASHBURN, June 10, 2012. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Thursday, June 14, at 2 p.m. Arrangements in care of Duncan-Graves Funeral Homes, Presque Isle.

    WASHBURN – Frances A. Dickinson, 86, passed away on Sunday, June 10, 2012. She was born in Grand Falls, NB, on April 11, 1926 the daughter of Bertis and Sylvia (Butler) Davenport. Frances was married to Clifton Dickinson for 45 years before he passed away in 1989. Frances worked for more than fifteen years for McCain Foods in Washburn, as well as, was a faithful member of the Dunntown Advent Christian Church for many years.

    Frances is survived by her children and their spouses, Clifton (Kit) and his wife, Linda Dickinson of Topsham, Roger Dickinson of Bristol, RI, Robert and his wife, Beverly Dickinson of Fort Worth, TX, Sally and her husband, Bill Sargent of Wade, and Joann Powell of Greencastle, PA. She also leaves behind a sister, Esther Butterfield of Ocala, FL; grandchildren, Laura Weatherbie, Lissa Madore, Billy Sargent, Jason Sargent, Julie Bean and Scott Powell. She will also be missed by 11 great-grandchildren, four great-great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband, Clifton, Frances was predeceased by her parents.

    Friends and family may call from 1-2 p.m. on Thursday, June 14, 2012, at Duncan Graves Funeral Home, 30 Church Street, Presque Isle where a funeral service will be held at 2 p.m., Reverend George McLaughlin officiating. Interment will take place following services at Fairview Cemetery in Perham.
