Senior first baseman Evan Waddell of the Presque Isle Wildcats receives a throw from pitcher Ryley Norton as the two attempt to pick Camden Hills’ Adam Carlson off at first base during last Wednesday’s Eastern Maine Class B quarterfinal held in Presque Isle. After jumping out to a 3-1 lead, the Wildcats were unable to hold on and they lost to the Windjammers by a 6-3 score. Presque Isle, the No. 1 team in the division, finished with a record of 15-2.
