They married at the age of 19 on July 19, 1952.
In 1954, he became the sole employee for the town of Masardis, where he worked for 45 years prior to his retirement in 1999. Clive was an outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping and canoeing with longtime friends, Vinal and Liz Robinson. He also enjoyed motorcycle riding in his younger years with his brother, Arthur and wife, Phyllis and longtime friends, Gary and Prudence Libby and Ralph and Althea Stolze. He was an avid cribbage player and enjoyed playing cribbage with wife, Lona and grandson, Nathan up until a few weeks before his passing. He enjoyed driving and going on long trips with Lona. It didn’t matter where the destination was, so long as he was driving.
