To the editor:
    To the people of the towns of Houlton, Hodgdon and the surrounding communities, thank you so much for the hope generated in your kind offerings during my daughter, Makenna’s, benefit supper and Carter Cummings Memorial Walk.
    We are so proud to be a part of a family/community that comes to the aid of one of their own. Several “thank yous” will not explain how grateful we are. Just know that our creator in Heaven has seen your offerings and will bless you abundantly.
