Suzy, a special needs kitty living at a Halfway Home Pet Rescue Foster Home (HHPR), is about 1 and 1/2 years old, spayed torti female with a charming personality.

Unfortunately, Suzy has developed a third degree heart condition which could mean medical problems down the road. She has all her current medical needs met, shots, worming, leukemia testing, etc.  HHPR is looking for a more permanent foster home in a quiet family situation and will oversee and pay for Suzy’s ongoing medical situation until such time when a more advanced heart condition requires she will return to HHPR and be housed in a limited environment. But for now, Suzy would like a home with lots of gentle loving. Call 492-1722 for a foster home application. HHPR is currently in need of bleach, litter scoops, litter pans from the Dollar Store, and postage stamps. If you require an application for the free pet food pantry, call 492-1722. Leave your information and a volunteer will mail you an application. Different board members will be reviewing the applications after they  are received back and you will be called by the food pantry volunteer if judged of an immediate crises. Please be patient as HHPR volunteers work and be sure to plan your pet food needs accordingly.
