HOULTON – Christine Phoebe (Campbell) O’Hara died April 9, in Houlton. She was born June 27, 1926, in Patten, the daughter of Fred W. and Pearl E. (Young) Campbell.
Christine was a direct descendant of the Mayflower and was a member of the Mayflower Society, the Constance Hopkins Colony and the Houlton United Methodist Church.
She is survived by her daughter, Marilyn Oliver and her husband, James of Johnson City, TN; a son, Michael O’Hara of Houlton; four grandchildren, Michael McCarthy and his wife, Michelle of Dover, NH, Patty (McCarthy) Duggins and her husband, Darren, of Maiden N.C.; Rachel and Jason; great-grandchildren, John and Madelyn Duggins, Katie and Allen Oliver, Skyler Calbe and Sian McCarthy; a sister, Jean Tarr of Patten.
She was predeceased by her husband, Leroy; daughter-in-law, Ruth; three brothers, Charles Sibley, Neal Campbell and Clayton Campbell; and a sister, Arlene Huntley.
Graveside funeral services will be held 11 a.m. April 18, at the Evergreen Cemetery with Pastor Naomi Sam-Kpakara officiating.
