Mothers Day Gift Basket raffle to benefit Kiwanis Club
CARIBOU — Members of the Caribou Kiwanis Club will be raffling off a Mother’s Day Gift Basket valued up to $500, with proceeds being used to benefit local Kiwanis Charities.
Raffle tickets can be purchased at the Aroostook Centre Mall on Friday, May 4, from 5 to 8 p.m.; Saturday, May 5 from 11 a.m. until 4 p.m. and on Sunday, May 6 from 1 to 4 p.m.
The winning ticket will be drawn on May 6 after the conclusion of ticket sales.

CARIBOU — The monthly meeting of the Aroostook County Republican Committee will be held on Saturday, April 21, at 9 a.m. at the Caribou Inn and Convention Center. The meeting is open to committee members and Aroostook County enrolled Republicans.
U. S. Senate candidate Bruce Poliquin has confirmed that he will be attending the meeting; Rick Bennett, also running for U.S. Senate is expected to be present, along with Blaine Richardson, candidate for U.S. Congress.
There will be a candidate question-and-answer period following the business meeting.

The Aroostook County Conservation Association (ACCA) and the Crown of Maine Chapter of the National Wild Turkey Federation (NWTF) are reminding members that there will be an important meeting of the Department of Inland Fisheries and Wildlife, Commissioner’s Advisory Council, to be held at the Presque Isle Fish and Game Club located on Parson’s Rd. on Thursday, April 19, at 1 p.m. The meeting is open to the public and all interested parties are encouraged to attend.
