On Saturday, November 5, 2011 at 12:00, Margaret Gary from Lincoln and Richard Briggs from Houlton were married at the Snow Hound Club in Lincoln.
Performing their marriage was William Chesley from Woodville. Richard’s best man was his son, Robert from Houlton. Margaret’s maid of honor was her daughter, Tracy Soucie from Winn.
Margaret’s three sons, Carl Jr. from Calais, Trent from Lincoln, and Henry from Mattawamkeag gave her away. Margaret’s granddaughter, Olivia Gary from Calais was her flower girl.
Tracy Soucie made all the decorations and the wedding dress.
The reception was held after the wedding with friends and family of the happy couple.
Richard and Margaret collected their babies (pups), Shelley, Nickey, Josie, and Wally and came to Houlton where they now reside.
Richard is the son of John and Shirley Briggs.
Margaret is the daughter of Henry and Sadie Carpenter.
